Wegen Corona-Krise: Deutschlands größtes Festival für Virtual Reality erst im August

Die zweite Auflage des Places _ Virtual Reality Festival sollte vom 14. bis 16. Mai wieder tausende Menschen nach Gelsenkirchen locken. Jetzt steht fest: Aufgrund der aktuellen Lage rund um das Corona-Virus wird das Festival zum geplanten Zeitpunkt nicht stattfinden. Neuer Termin ist der 20. - 22.08.2020.

Um eine schnelle Ausbreitung des Corona-Virus zu verhindern, hat die Stadt Gelsenkirchen am 13. März alle Veranstaltungen in Gelsenkirchen bis auf Weiteres untersagt. Davon betroffen ist auch die zweite Auflage des Places _ Virtual Reality Festival, das ursprünglich für den 14.-16. Mai geplant war.
