Zum 01. April 2008 gibt es einen Wechsel in der Geschäftsführung von Philips Lighting in Aachen. Paul van den Kerkhoff (47), Leiter des Aachener Licht-Betriebes Business Center Automotive (BCA) der Philips Technologie GmbH, Geschäftsführer von Philips Licht Aachen und Supply Group Manager Business Line Headlighting wird das BCA Aachen verlassen, um eine neue Tätigkeit als Senior Director Industrial Quality bei Philips Consumer Lifestyle in Eindhoven zu übernehmen.

Seine Nachfolge wird Karl Spekl (53) übernehmen. Herr Spekl ist zurzeit Leiter des Betriebes Global Technology Development (GTD) der Philips Technology GmbH in Aachen. Karl Spekl studierte von 1976 bis1979 Maschinenbau an der
