Face the future together with PCE

(PresseBox) (Zwingenberg, )
PCE Pharma Track & Trace system represents safety and transparency in the pharmaceutical packaging process. Every single unit from folding box, bundle, carton up to palette, is being marked with an individual Datamatrix shaped serial number for traceability within the supply chain. The clear traceability of single units to the patient is thus guaranteed. The pharmacists have to comply with marking directives in order to serialise their products, whereas these directives are on the rise worldwide. With its longtime experience and the integration of more than hundred systems worldwide PCE offers to you the ideal conditions to be in a leading position. PCE is going to present the latest technical developments at the Trade Fair FachPack 2010 in hall 1 stand 527 and will meet their customers in order to exchange information together with experienced experts. As a trade fair highlight - PCE will present Pharma Track & Trace solutions as a network system and will provide insight into the whole process of serialisation. Experience Track & Trace Live together with PCE.

Product highlight 2010

In several countries the bundle is classified as trading unit and therefore needs to be marked separately within the Track & Trace Aggregation process. With the product Advanced Bundle Station PCE offers already today the solution for future marking directives within the field of pharmaceutical packaging. This modular device fulfils all requirements within the global Track & Trace process according to the European efpia model. Functional description: A highresolution camera reads each code on the folding box within a bundle onto the integrated conveyer belt. The code of each folding box will be verified, the classification of the folding box to the bundle will be registered and entered into the database. In addition, the bundle will be marked via label with a definite serial number and entered afterwards into the database as an independent packaging unit. Innovative image processing solves challenging tasks, like the reading of codes tightly banderoled, shrunk or completely wrapped (cellophaned) bundles error free.
