L'interface de programmation PCAN-Basic de PEAK-System, qui permet de connecter vos propres programmes sous Windows et Linux aux bus CAN, peut désormais être utilisée aisément dans un environnement de développement .NET. À cette fin, la société fournit gratuitement l'assembly PCAN-Basic.NET.

Avec PCAN-Basic.NET, il est possible de créer des applications pour différents environnements .NET comme .NET Core ou .NET Framework. .NET Core est également applicable sous Linux. L'assembly fournit de nouvelles classes pour améliorer la gestion des opérations CAN les plus importantes, par exemple le filtrage amélioré et la transmission périodique des messages CAN.
