DVB-T2 als zweite Generation der digital terrestrischen Fernsehverbreitung soll in den kommenden Jahren neue Empfangsmöglichkeiten, unter anderem für hochauflösendes Fernsehen, über Antenne ermöglichen. In Großbritannien wird DVB-T2 bereits seit Frühjahr 2010 im Regelbetrieb verwendet. Die Innovationsschmiede PCTV Systems aus Braunschweig stellt ihren IFABesuchern in Halle 17 am Stand 107 den weltweit ersten serienreifen DVB-T2 USB-Stick vor. Demonstriert wird die überragende Qualität von DVB-T2 im Live- Betrieb über die in Berlin zurzeit ausgestrahlten Testprogramme.
