OSRAM doubles its production capacities in India

With the construction of a second plant in the Haryana region, OSRAM is set to double its production capacities in India in the next three years, further advancing its expansion in the Asia / Pacific region. Today, OSRAM CEO Martin Goetzeler and the premier of Haryana, Shri Bhupinder Singh Hooda ceremonially laid the corner stone for the new plant in Kundli. The focus of the product range of the plant will be energy-saving T5 fluorescent lamps and compact fluorescent lamps. In the medium term, OSRAM will be investing between 15 and 20 million euros.
