Basierend auf der bewährten Leistungsschaltertechnik des GAE -1LSV- konzipierte die Ormazabal GmbH aus Krefeld mit dem GAE -1LSV2- innerhalb von wenigen Monaten ein neues Leistungsschalterfeld. Dieses ist für einen Bemessungs-Betriebsstrom von bis zu 630 A mit 10.000 mechanischen Schaltspielen sowie 100 Kurzschlussausschaltungen ausgelegt. Die geringen Abmessungen ermöglichen den Einsatz in Kompaktstationen, bei denen es auf jeden Zentimeter ankommt. Dank der Integration des GAE -1LSV2- in die GA-Baureihe von Ormazabal sind ab sofort Blockschaltanlagen mit Vakuum-Leistungsschalterfeldern bis zu 20 kA bei 24 kV erhältlich.
