Am Firmensitz der Orbit Logistics Europe GmbH in Leverkusen entsteht zurzeit das Zuhause für das neue, hochsichere Rechenzentrum „drei“. Ende August 2016 soll die Enterprise Serverlandschaft bereits bezugsfertig sein. Die Investitionssumme für Gebäude und technische Erstausstattung wird rund eine drei viertel Million Euro betragen. Mit Leverkusen hat sich Orbit Logistics bewusst für einen Standort innerhalb des deutschen bzw. europäischen Rechtssystems entschieden; wichtig vor allem beim Hosting sensibler Anwendungen. Der sukzessive Ausbau der Rechnerleistung mit 7056 Cores (CPU-Kerne) wird in den Bereich der Supercomputer vordringen. Neben der enormen Leistungssteigerung wird vor allem die Energieeffizienz des Rechenzentrums um ein Vielfaches erhöht. Hocheffiziente
