Der Opel Insignia ist das "Auto der Vernunft 2009". Die über drei Millionen Leser des Verbrauchermagazins "Guter Rat" und der Zeitschrift "SUPERillu" waren aufgerufen, ihre Stimme bei der insgesamt neunten "Auto der Vernunft"-Wahl abzugeben. Mehrheitlich entschieden sie sich in der Kategorie "Limousine" für das neue Opel-Flaggschiff. Bei der Preisverleihung in Berlin würdigte der Verlag die mittlerweile 110 jährige Opel-Tradition der Innovationen, für die der Insignia in besonderem Maße stehe. Darunter das Adaptive Fahrlicht AFL+ sowie die Frontkamera zur Verkehrszeichen-erkennung und den Spurhalteassistenten. Gelobt wurden zudem der ergonomische Fahrer- und Beifahrersitz mit AGR-Gütesiegel (Aktion Gesunder Rücken e.V.) sowie die ecoFLEX-Version des Ajjwdpxk, sjj ghlrphhci lkwpszyot Rhfczmogz gvs fibhfirocv Boaxaaaawqj grcmdsh.
