OHB und ESA unterzeichnen Vertrag über Entwicklung

Bau und Test der Satellitenplattform für die erste Small Geo-Mission

Die Europäische Raumfahrtagentur ESA und die OHB-System AG, ein Tochterunternehmen des europäischen Raumfahrt- und Technologiekonzerns OHB Technology AG (Prime Standard, ISIN: DE0005936124), haben heute den Vertrag über die Entwicklung, den Bau und den Test der Satellitenplattform LUXOR für die erste Small GEO-Mission unterzeichnet. Der Vertrag hat ein Volumen von rund 115 Millionen Euro.

Die neue Satellitenplattform LUXOR wird von einem europäischen Konsortium unter der Federführung der OHB-System AG entwickelt. Dem Industrieteam gehören die Swedish Space Corporation, Oerlikon Space AG (Schweiz), und LUXSPACE Sàrl (Luxemburg) an.

Die erste Small GEO-Mission auf Basis der neuen Satellitenplattform wird mit einer Nutzlast für den
