Mr. Antti Toskala of Nokia Siemens Networks has been recognized as an outstanding driving force to make LTE* a commercial reality. At the 2010 LTE Awards ceremony in Amsterdam, Toskala was honoured with the 'Award for individual contribution to LTE development'.
The award was presented May 18, 2010, during the LTE World Summit 2010. Toskala leads Nokia Siemens Networks' standardization team and has made major contributions to the development of the 3GPP LTE standardization process. He has also been highly active in spreading LTE expertise both within Nokia Siemens Networks and throughout the industry.
