Erster Abruf aus dem Rahmenvertrag von Dong Energy und Nexans

Dong Energy, Fredericia (Dänemark), und Nexans Deutschland haben einen Vertrag über die Lieferung und Montage von Mittelspannungs-Seekabel für den Windpark West of Duddon Sands unterzeichnet. Der Auftrag für die 15 Kilometer westlich vor Walney Island gelegene Anlage umfasst 122 Kilometer Seekabel zur Verbindung der einzelnen Windkraftanlagen untereinander sowie mit der Trafo-Plattform. Für die interne Plattformverkabelung werden zusätzlich zwei Kilometer Kabel geliefert. Mit der Montage soll im Sommer 2013 begonnen werden.

Der Windpark, den die Partner DONG Energy und ScottishPower Renewables errichten, wird nach Fertigstellung aus 108 Turbinen mit je 3,6 MW Leistung bestehen.
