Narda Safety Test Solutions bringt mit dem AMS-8061 einen neuen selektiven Area Monitor auf den Markt. Die autarke Messstation überwacht elektromagnetische Felder von 100 kHz bis 6 GHz in bis zu 20 frei definierbaren Frequenzbändern. Dadurch lassen sich Feldexpositionsanteile z. B. von GSM, UMTS, LTE sowie DAB und DVB-T getrennt erfassen. Die Messung entspricht der ITU-T-Empfehlung K.83 „Monitoring of electromagnetic field levels".

Der neue Area Monitor vom Typ AMS-8061 arbeitet autark. Solarzellen und Akku erlauben ununterbrochene Messungen über praktisch unbegrenzte Zeit. Die Ergebnisse speichert das Gerät intern, z. B. im Sechs-Minuten-Abstand jeweils über die vergangenen 30 Tage. Sie lassen
