Das Einsatzspektrum digitaler Inklinometer reicht vom Unfallschutz, über den Einsatz als Frühwarnsystem bis hin zur Maschinen- oder Fahrzeugüberwachung. Überall dort, wo Kippgefahr besteht und Sicherheit eine wichtige Rolle spielt, kann das Überwachen der Fahrzeugneigung mit Hilfe des Neigungssensors durchgeführt werden, z. B. bei Baufahrzeugen, Auslegern von Kränen oder Schiffen, Rampen von Fähren, landwirtschaftlichen Geräten, Hubarbeitsbühnen und Nutzkraftfahrzeugen. Der digitale 2-Achsen-Neigungssensor D2NE-HD von Müller Industrie-Elektronik kann direkt am zu überwachenden Objekt montiert werden, um die Neigung und Kippgefahr eines Fahrzeuges zu erkennen und zu steuern.
