Mozilla hat in der vergangenen Nacht die 2. Beta des Browsers Firefox 3.0 verfügbar gemacht

Zu den neuen Features dieser Beta 2 zählen eine verbesserte Location-Leiste und ein "effective Top Level Domain" (eTLD)-Dienst, der die Privatsphäre des Anwenders besser schützt. Zum Teil basierend auf dem Feedback zur Beta 1 wurden zudem Verbesserungen in den Bereichen Sicherheit, Stabilität und Performance vorgenommen.

Die Beta 2 steht ab sofort auf http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/all-beta.html zum Download zur Verfügung. Tester sind eingeladen, das neue Beta-Release zu testen und Anmerkungen und Verbesserungsvorschläge über das Formular http://hendrix.mozilla.org/ machen. Berichte über Bugs können auf https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ eingestellt werden.
