Moxas neue RNAS-1200 Serie so genannter Network Attached Storage-Systeme, kurz NAS, wurden für den Einsatz in Industrieumgebungen konstruiert, die ein kompaktes Massenspeichergerät mit hoher Leistung, Zuverlässigkeit und Kapazität erfordern.

Viele Videoüberwachungs- oder Medienspeicheranwendungen müssen in rauen Umgebungsbedingungen zuverlässig funktionieren - eine Herausforderung, der handelsübliche NAS-Systeme nicht gewachsen sind. Die Datenspeicherung in Fahrzeugen oder in der Schwerindustrie erfordert eine besonders robuste Art der Konstruktion, die sicher stellt, das Daten nicht von hohen oder niedrigen Temperaturen, Vibrationen oder Erschütterungen beeinflusst werden. Die RNAS-Serie wurde speziell für das sichere Speichern von mobilen Daten oder Daten von entfernt gelegenen Geräten entwickelt.
