MobilCom AG, Büdelsdorf, 10. Januar 2003 – Zum Jahresende hat die MobilCom AG planmäßig wichtige Meilensteine der Restrukturierung des Service Provider Geschäfts erreicht: Am 31. Dezember 2002 schloss MobilCom den Standort Karlstein und stellte die Aktivitäten in Kiel ein. Alle operativen Einheiten sowie die dafür erforderliche IT wurden nach Büdelsdorf und Erfurt verlagert.

„Die Zusammenlegung der Kundenservices führt zu einer deutlich besseren Kostensituation“, so Dr. Thorsten Grenz, Vorstandvorsitzender der MobilCom AG. „Insgesamt geben wir jetzt schon einen zweistelligen Millionenbetrag weniger für Personal, IT und laufende Betriebskosten aus.“
