Neue Software für 3-D-Koordinatenmessgeräte

Eine noch umfassendere Offline-Programmierung von 3-D-Koordinatenmessmaschinen sowie besonders realistische Simulationen von Mess-abläufen und -programmen ermöglicht die neue Software CAT1000 von Mitutoyo.

Sie ist als Erweiterungsbaustein des MCOSMOS-Systems ausgelegt und ab sofort verfügbar. MCOSMOS steht für "Mitutoyo Controlled Open System for Modular Operation Support" und ist das modulare Softwarekonzept für das Steuern, Messen und Auswerten in der Koordinatenmesstechnik.

CAT1000 widmet sich der Messprogrammerstellung aus dem CAD-Modell sowie der 3-D-Freiform-flächenauswertung. Wesentliche Leistungsmerkmale sind die unkomplizierte Verfahrwegsgenerierung per einfachem Mausklick am Modell, die optimierte Kollisionsvermeidung, der automatische Tasterwechsel sowie die Simulation von Einzelverfahrbewegungen und ganzen Teileprogrammen.
