Zur 3D-Messung von Fahrwerksfedern hat die Qsigma GmbH ein Messsystem entwickelt, das mit Laserscannern von Micro-Epsilon ausgestattet ist. Mit dem Spring Measurement System (kurz: SMS) können Federn in kürzester Zeit geprüft werden. Das System und auch die eingesetzten 3D-Laserscanner werden auf der Control in Stuttgart vorgestellt.

Das Spring Measurement System von Qsigma wird zur automatischen Federerkennung, der Auswertung der Drahtkontur und der Ermittlung des Drahtdurchmessers eingesetzt. In der kompakten Messzelle rotiert die zu prüfende Feder auf einer Längsachse. Während der Rotation wird ein Laserscanner von Micro-Epsilon von zwei Linearachsen in horizontaler und vertikaler Richtung über die Feder bewegt. Um höchste
