Ein Kamel geht durchs Nadelöhr - modernste Lasertechnik macht's möglich

Die Frage, ob Reichtum den Weg in das Himmelreich verwehrt, kann wohl auch im 21. Jahrhundert nicht endgültig beantwortet werden. Ein Kamel durch ein Nadelöhr gehen zu lassen, erscheint demgegenüber heute vergleichsweise simpel. Modernste Lasertechnik ermöglicht die Herstellung sehr kleiner und präziser Bauteile, die in den unterschiedlichsten Bereichen der Mikrotechnologie Anwendung finden.
Zur Demonstration der Möglichkeiten in der Laser-Präzisionsbearbeitung haben die Entwickler der Micreon GmbH ein Miniatur-Kamel hergestellt, welches durch das Auge einer Nähnadel passt. Das Kamel wurde aus einer Goldfolie gefertigt und ist gerade mal 2 mm groß.
