Das ChiliSOM von Grinn ist ein superkleines low-power Modul, das auf einem ARM Cortex-A8 Prozessor basiert. Auf Grund der Bauform kann es direkt auf eine Platine aufgelötet werden und kommt daher ohne Steckverbinder aus. Da sich alle kritischen Signale auf dem Modul befinden, kann auch komplexe Peripherie auf einem 2-Lagen Baseboard verwendet werden, um signifikant Kosten einzusparen. Neben der MPU befinden sich DDR2-RAM, FLASH und Power Management auf dem Modul. Prozessor und Speicher gibt es in verschiedenen Ausbaustufen, auch ein erweiterter Temperaturbereich ist möglich. Das ChiliSOM wird idealerweise in Applikationen eingesetzt, die eine sehr kompakte Bauweise, hohe Rechenleistung oder einen
