Zur electronica 2010 stellt der Storage Spezialist STEC die neuen MACH16 Solid State Drives mit SATA Schnittstelle vor. MACH16 ist die neue Generation von High Performance Solid State Drives mit höchster Zuverlässigkeit. Erreicht werden stabile 240MB/s lesen und 190MB/s schreiben.

Die MACH16 gibt es als SLC (IOPS optimiert) und MLC Variante. Herz des Produktes ist aber stets der aktuellste STEC Flashcontroller mit folgenden Features: Full Data Path Protection über alle Datenbewegungen, Enhanced ECC Protection, Life Cycle Management , Power Down Data Protection, Total Drive Wear Levelling sowie Embedded Support of Purge AES Encryption.
