Mit der Gründung der medianetics GmbH bündelt und verstärkt die Baumann-Gruppe ihre Ressourcen im Bereich Elektronische Druckvorstufe in einem neuen Systemhaus. Zum 1. Juli 2005 werden die entsprechenden Aktivitäten aus der Baumann & Rohrmann GmbH mit Sitz in Köln und der Heinrich Baumann Grafisches Centrum GmbH & Co. KG mit Sitz in Frankfurt am Main in der medianetics GmbH zusammengeführt. Standort des neuen Unternehmens mit zunächst 15 Mitarbeitern ist Meckenheim bei Bonn.

Von hier aus wird die medianetics GmbH bundesweit Kunden betreuen und dabei sehr eng mit ihren Lieferanten und Partnerunternehmen Agfa, Apple, EFI, Epson, Helios, OKS, Sun sowie Xerox
