Eugen Elmiger, 47, ist per 1. Januar 2011 zum neuen Vorsitzenden der Geschäftsleitung der maxon motor ag in Sachseln berufen worden. Die Ernennung erfolgte, um die Kontinuität in der Führung und die langfristige Entwicklung des Unternehmens bestmöglich gewährleisten zu können.

Eugen Elmiger ist seit 1991 bei maxon motor tätig. Ende der 90er Jahre hat er den Auf- und Ausbau des Verkaufsnetzwerks in Asien wesentlich vorangetrieben. Seit 2006 ist er in der Geschäftsleitung verantwortlich für Verkauf und Marketing sowie seit Januar 2010 Sprecher der Geschäftsleitung. Elmiger studierte Elektrotechnik und absolvierte Weiterbildungen an der Universität St. Gallen und an der Stanford Business Lyauwc.
