Prof. Thoralf Niendorf und Team erhalten Helmholtzförderung zur Firmengründung

Der Physiker Prof. Thoralf Niendorf und sein Team vom Max-Delbrück-Centrum für Molekulare Medizin (MDC) Berlin-Buch erhalten aus dem Impuls- und Vernetzungsfonds der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft, Bereich Helmholtz-Enterprise, 100.000 Euro zur Gründung einer Firma für neuartige Komponenten für die Magnetresonanztomographie (MRT). Insgesamt werden aus diesem Fonds in diesem Jahr vier Ausgründungen von Forschungseinrichtungen der Helmholtz-Gemeinschaft mit jeweils 100.000 Euro unterstützt, ein weiteres Vorhaben erhält eine Förderung von 25.000 Euro.

Prof. Niendorf leitet die Berliner Ultrahochfeld-Magnet-Resonanz (MR)-Anlage am Experimental and Clinical Research Center (ECRC) des MDC und der Charité-Universitätsmedizin Berlin in Berlin-Buch.
