Das auf der Fachmesse ANGA Cable vorgestellte Common Interface Modul AlphaCrypt TC (Twin Card) ist ab sofort auch in großen Stückzahlen lieferbar. Das AlphaCrypt TC besitzt die gleichen Eigenschaften wie das klassische AlphaCrypt-Modul, es beinhaltet aber zusätzlich einen zweiten Kartenleser. Einen für die bekannten Smartcards sowie einen für kleine SIM-Karten. Denn künftig werden immer mehr europäische Pay-TV-Anbieter Smartcards mit herausbrechbarer SIM-Karte auf den Markt bringen. Um herkömmliche Smartcards passgerecht in das SIM-Format zu schneiden, liegt jedem AlphaCrypt TC eine selbstklebende Schnittmuster-Schablone bei.
