Das britische Verteidigungsministerium und MAN haben sich auf die Lieferung von weiteren 2 077 Lkw geeinigt. Dies teilten beide Partner am 29. Juni 2006 auf der Defence Vehicle Dynamics-Off-Road-Show in Bedfordshire, England mit. Die Vertragsunterzeichnung solle innerhalb der nächsten Wochen erfolgen. Hierbei handelt es sich um die Einlösung einer Auftragsoption, die den Haupt-auftrag über knapp 5 200 Lkw ergänzt, den MAN im März 2005 erhielt. Damit erhöht sich der Wert des Gesamtauftrages um rund 300 Millionen Euro (netto) auf circa 1,6 Milliarden Euro. Bei den Fahrzeugen handelt es sich hauptsächlich um Zweiachser sowie einige Vierachser. Ihre Auslieferung wird ab Mitte
