Rechtzeitig zur Vorweihnachtszeit gibt Softwareload die diesjährigen Sieger des Publikumspreises "Software des Jahres 2011" bekannt. Auch in diesem Jahr geht MAGIX mit mehreren Medaillen aus dem Voting. In der Kategorie "Video" gewinnt MAGIX zum dritten Mal in Folge mit dem Programm zum Schneiden von Videos, Video deluxe, die Goldmedaille. Weitere Platzierungen erlangte das Unternehmen in den Kategorien "Foto" und "Musik". Vom 30. September bis 6. November 2011 hatten über 650.000 Nutzer von Softwareload, dem Software-Download-Portal der Deutschen Telekom, mit über 1.000.000 Einzelstimmen über ihre Lieblingsprodukte aus zwölf Kategorien abgestimmt.
