Die MAGIX Software GmbH ist weiter auf Wachstumskurs und investiert in den Zukunftsmarkt Virtual Reality. Der Softwarehersteller hat den Bereich deutlich ausgebaut und kündigt für Frühjahr nächsten Jahres eine VR Suite an.

Schon seit geraumer Zeit arbeitet MAGIX zusammen mit Intel (Alloy) und Microsoft (HoloLens) an VR-Projekten. Um sich das Zukunftsfeld noch schneller zu erschließen, hat das Unternehmen vor Kurzem die Dresdner Softwareschmiede simplitec GmbH übernommen. Das simplitec Team konzentriert sich unter der Führung von MAGIX ganz auf VR.

Laut Digi-Capital wird der VR-Videomarkt bis 2020 auf über 6 Mrd. USD wachsen.
