Das OpenSource Projekt Lx-Office.org hat die Version 2.0.0 der Warenwirtschafts- und Finanzbuchhaltungssuite Lx-Office ERP released. Die Lx-Office ERP wurde in gemeinsam von den Unternehmen Lx-System, Linux-Dienstleister mit Sitz in Ulm, sowie Linet Services, Spezialist für Linux im Intra- und Internet in Braunschweig, entwickelt. Die Lx-Office ERP steht unter der GPL und ist somit lizenzkostenfrei einsetzbar. Die neue Version bringt viele Vorteile beim Einsatz der Lösung in Deutschland sowie im deutschsprachigen und europäischen Ausland.

Die Finanzbuchhaltung wurde komplett auf deutsche Verhältnisse angepasst und ist somit DATEV-Buchhaltungskompatibel. Damit entfällt zukünftig das Markieren von Kunden, Lieferanten und Artikel nach Steuersätzen. Diese Verwaltung
