Logicalis Awarded IBM's Top Business Partner Award for The Americas
Multi-vendor partner builds $200 million of U.S. IBM revenues in two years from standing start
Competing with resellers, consultants, integrators, and independent software vendors throughout the Americas, according to IBM, Logicalis was selected from among all of its Business Partners because of its impact on the marketplace, its unique, replicable and integrated solutions using IBM products and services, its business contribution to IBM, its shared values with IBM, and its demonstrated client satisfaction and value delivered.
"Year after year, Logicalis has exhibited its commitment, leadership and dedication to IBM, the Business Partner community, and clients," said Ayman Antoun, IBM's vice president for Business Partners, Americas.
"This is a highly significant award," says Logicalis global CEO, Ian Cook. "In past years the award has routinely gone to IBM-only partners. But IBM has recognised that the world has changed - customers demand integrated offerings. The fact is, though, that IBM creates value for us and we create value for our customers. It works - that's why we've been able to take our IBM business in the US from near zero in 2004 to $200 million in 2006."
Additional awards In addition to the Top Business Partner Award, Logicalis won IBM's Beacon award for Overall Technical Excellence and was a finalist for two other Beacon awards: IBM Global Services Teaming Award for Resellers, and Best IBM System Storage Virtualization Solution award. IBM cited Logicalis' ability to deliver newer technologies such as virtualization and server consolidation that provide demonstrable real business benefits to its clients.

Previous awards The IBM Top Business Partner award is the latest in a string of awards presented to Logicalis by its strategic partners. In 2006, Logicalis was presented with the 'Best IBM xSeries On Demand Solution' award at the annual IBM PartnerWorld Beacon Awards. In 2006, Logicalis was awarded BT's 'Partner Solution of the Year' by delivering a 200 per cent increase in like-on-like sales. In the same year, Cisco presented the 'Cisco Worldwide Enterprise Partner of the Year' award - its top award for its enterprise partners - to Logicalis Argentina, as well naming the company 'Cisco South America Partner of the Year'. It also awarded, the 'Cisco European Services Partner of the Year', UK Gold Partner of the Year, and UK Services Partner of the Year to Logicalis UK. In 2007 Logicalis UK was presented with Cisco's `IP Communications Partner of the Year` and `Services Partner of the Year` awards as well as winning `European Services Partner of the Year` for the second time in succession.
