Der einflussreiche internationale Standard für Qualitätsmanagementsysteme wird zur Zeit überarbeitet. Die Autoren der Norm haben eine „wesentliche“ Überarbeitung angekündigt. Die Anwender möchten natürlich so früh wie möglich erfahren, was sich ändert und worauf sich zertifizierte Unternehmen einstellen müssen.

David Lawson ist Technical Director bei Lloyd’s Register Quality Assurance (LRQA), einem internationalen Anbieter für Zertifizierung und Auditierung von Managementsystemen. Er erklärt, welche Neuerungen bereits feststehen, womit man rechnen kann und welche Auswirkung die Änderungen haben können.
