Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LTC1403AH, einen SAR-ADC mit 14bit und 2,8MSa/s für den automobilen Temperatur-bereich von -40°C bis +125°C. Der LTC1403AH benötigt eine unipolare Betriebsspannung zwischen 2,7V und 3,6V, hat bei 2,8MSa/s eine Leistungsaufnahme von nur 14mW und ist in einem winzigen, 10-poligen MSOP-Gehäuse untergebracht. Der ADC enthält eine interne Spannungsreferenz, misst ein einzelnes, differenzielles Eingangssignal im Bereich von 0V bis 2,5V und kommuniziert über eine einfache, serielle 3-Draht-Schnittstelle. Der LTC1403AH ist für auto-mobile Anwendungen wie z. B. Basisband-Radarmessungen, Gassensoren oder Beschleunigungs-sensoren vorgesehen.
