Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LT3750, einen Flyback-Controller zum schnellen Laden hochkapazitiver Kondensatoren mit Spannungen bis zu 1.000V. Der LT3750 treibt einen externen Hochstrom-n-Kanal-MOSFET und kann einen 100uF-Kondensator in weniger als 300ms auf 300V aufladen. Der Chip eignet sich dadurch hervorragend für Anwendungen wie z. B. professionelle Fotoblitzsysteme, HF-Sicherheitssysteme, Lagerkontrollsysteme und Spezial-Hochspannungsstromversorgungen. Durch seinen weiten Eingangsspannungsbereich von 3V bis 24V kann der Controller an Spannungsquellen unterschiedlichster Art betrieben werden. Das patentierte Boundary-Mode-Steuerungsverfahren minimiert Übergangsverluste und erlaubt die Verwendung kleinerer Transformatoren. Der Chip ist in einem winzigen MSOP-10-Gehäuse untergebracht und stellt eine äußerst kompakte Lösung zum Hochspannungs-/Hochstrom-Laden von Kondensatoren dar.
