Linear Technology Corporation präsentiert den LTC2952, ein vielseitiges Power-Management-IC mit Drucktasten-Ein/Ausschaltung für System-Power- und Systemüberwachungsfunktionen. Die Power-Management-Funktion bietet zwei ideale PowerPathTM-Controller für Anwendungen, die eine ideale ODER-Dioden-Verknüpfung zur Lastverteilung oder automatischen Umschaltung zwischen zwei Eingangsspannungsquellen erfordern. Die verlustarme Umschaltung erfolgt durch Regelung zweier externer p-Kanal-MOSFETs mit einer typischen Durchlassspannung von nur 20mV und lässt sich an die jeweilige Anwendung anpassen. Der Drucktasten-Controller ermöglicht die Aktivierung/Deaktivierung von DC/DC-Wandlern, unterstützt die Interrupt-Logik des Prozessors und bietet einstellbare ON- und OFF-Entprellzeiten. Beim Ausschalten sendet der LTC2952 einen Interrupt an den Systemprozessor, damit dieser dann das System "sanft" herunterfahren kann. Durch seine robusten und
