Linear präsentiert die MP- (Military Plastic) Version des LTC3404. Der LTC3404 ist ein wirkungsgradstarker 1,4MHz-Synchron-Abwärtsregler mit Current-Mode-Architektur und konstanter Schaltfrequenz. Der Chip ist in einem MSOP-8-Gehäuse untergebracht und kann Dauer-Ausgangsströme bis zu 600mA bei Ausgangsspannungen bis hinab zu 0,8V liefern. Er akzeptiert Eingangsspannungen zwischen 2,65V und 6V und ist dadurch eine ideale Lösung sowohl für Einzelzellen-Li-Ion- und NiMH-Anwendungen als auch für allgemeine Anwendungen mit Versorgungsspannungen innerhalb des genannten Bereichs. Durch den hohen Wirkungsgrad von bis zu 95% und den extrem niedrigen Ruhestrom von nur 10uA ist der LTC3404 eine ideale Lösung für Handgeräte, bei denen es auf möglichst lange Batterielaufzeit nnqlbsj.
