Linear Technology präsentiert den LT3003, einen LED-Stromverteiler, der drei separate LEDs-Ketten mit einer Stromabweichung von nur 3% ansteuern kann und dadurch eine gleichmäßige LED-Helligkeit gewährleistet. Der LT3003 kann bis zu 24 LEDs (drei Ketten mit je 8 LEDs) mit jeweils 350mA ansteuern und ist dadurch eine ideale Lösung für Hintergrundbeleuchtungen von TFT-LCDs und Heads-up-Displays. Der LT3003 arbeitet je nach Bedarf im Boost-Modus, im Buck-Modus oder im Buck-Boost-Modus und eignet sich dadurch für LED-Anwendungen unterschiedlichster Art. Durch seinen weiten Eingangsspannungsbereich von 3V bis 40V deckt er fast alle LED-Anwendungen ab.
