Linear Technology präsentiert den LTC2246H, einen 14-bit-A/D-Wandler (ADC) mit 25MSa/s Abtastrate für Datenerfassungssysteme, die hohen Temperaturen ausgesetzt sind und höchste Zuverlässigkeit erfordern. Der für Betriebstemperaturen von –40oC bis +125oC spezifizierte LTC2246H erfüllt die Temperaturfestigkeitsanforderungen automobiler und militärischer Anwendungen. Außerdem wird der LTC2246H in einem bedrahteten Gehäuse angeboten, dadurch lassen sich in der Produktion die Lötstellen besser inspizieren. Dieser Hochgeschwindigkeits-ADC ist für automobile Radarsysteme zur Kollisionsvermeidung (Collision Avoidance Radar, CAR) vorgesehen.

Bei 14 bit und 25MSa/s verbraucht der LTC2246H nur 75mW. Darüber hinaus bietet der Wandler einen hervorragenden Signal/Rauschabstand (SNR) von 74,5dB und einen verzerrungsfreien Dynamikbereich (SFDR) von 90dBc.
