Demonstrationssysteme im Rahmen der Clean-Sky-Initiative

Auf einer Sitzung zum Projektauftakt am 30. September 2008 im Allgäu wurden die Arbeiten an der integrierten Technologie-Demonstration (ITD) "Flugzeugsysteme für umweltfreundlichen Betrieb" gestartet. Das Vorhaben ist eines von sechs Technologiefeldern der europäischen Technologie-Initiative "Clean Sky". Es wird Lösungen zur Reduktion und Steuerung des Energieverbrauchs der Flugzeug-Bordsysteme sowie zur Optimierung des Flugwegs von Flugzeugen entwickeln, bauen und erproben. Für das Forschungsvorhaben steht ein Etat von über 300 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung. Das Projekt wird von Liebherr-Aerospace und Thales Aerospace geleitet.
