Ende August wurde LetsGoDigital eingeladen, nach Hamburg hinüber zu fahren und dort an einem Pressemeeting von Olympus teilzunehmen. Bei diesem europäischen Meeting wurden die neuen, kompakten Digital kameras vorgestellt, darüber hinaus gab es eine Vorschau auf die neue Olympus digitale SLR-Kamera: die Olympus E-400. Beim Pressemeeting standen die Journalisten in 4 dicht gedrängten Reihen und warteten darauf, einen Blick der drei Olympus E400-er erhaschen zu können, was es unmöglich machte, sich einen genauen Eindruck zu verschaffen. Bei dem Pressemeeting wurde aus strategischen Erwägungen noch keine Preisempfehlung bekannt gemacht, aber es dürfte zweifellos ein konkurrenzfähiger Preis sein.
