Lenzing Tochter SPV (Indonesien) startet Probebetrieb der vierten Faser-Produktionslinie

Die indonesische Tochtergesellschaft der Lenzing AG, PT. South Pacific Viscose (SPV) startete dieser Tage die ersten erfolgreichen Probeläufe ihrer neuen, vierten Produktionslinie. Im Verlauf des zweiten Quartals 2010 ist die Aufnahme des Regelbetriebes zu erwarten. Erzeugt werden Viscosefasern für textile Anwendungen und für die Nonwovensindustrie, die am lokalen Markt in Indonesien abgesetzt werden, aber auch exportiert werden.

Mit einer Investitionssumme von rund 150 Millionen US-Dollar ist der Bau der vierten Linie bei SPV das größte Einzel-Investitionsprojekt der Lenzing Gruppe der vergangenen Jahre. Bislang wurden in der SPV mehr als 500 Mio. USD investiert. Die Bauzeit betrug rund 18 Monate, wobei
