Nach dem Release des USB Typ-C zu VGA-Adapter, Modell KN40562, bringt der Hersteller aus Leipzig nun einen USB Typ-C zu HDMI-Adapter auf den Markt. Verkaufsstart ist der 15.07.2015. Der Adapter mit der Modellnummer KN40565 verbindet das MacBook 12" bei Bedarf mit einem Beamer, TV oder TFT-Monitor. Über den digitalen HDMI-Ausgang wird das Bildsignal ohne Qualitätsverluste übertragen. Falsche Farbdarstellung oder schwammige Bilder sollen, so die Entwickler aus Leipzig, damit der Vergangenheit angehören. Laut Herstellerangaben arbeitet der Adapter mit einer maximal möglichen Auflösung von 3840×2160 Pixel, 30Hz (2160p / 4k) und wird über das MacBook mit Strom versorgt.
