Lauterbach, der führende Hersteller von Mikroprozessor Entwicklungssystemen erweitert seinen Support um die neuen Freescale Qorivva MPC57xx und die STMicroelectronics SPC57x Familien für seinen TRACE32 Debugger. Als Resultat der engen Kooperation von Lauterbach mit Freescale und STMicroelectronics in ihrem Joint Development Program (JPD) erhalten Anwender des Lauterbach TRACE32 ICD den vollen Debug-Support für diese Prozessoren bereits bei der Vorstellung der Chips.

Lauterbach bietet zwei alternative Lösungen zum Debuggen für die MPC57xx/SPC57x Familie an. Mit einem PowerDebug Modul erhält man über das JTAG Interface (OnCE) Zugriff für den gesamten Debug Prozess wie Code Download, FLASH Programmierung und Source Code Debugging.
