Widerspruchsfrist gegen Veröffentlichung von Häuserfassaden bei Microsoft läuft vom 1.8.-30.9.2011

Der Landesdatenschutzbeauftragte Ulrich Lepper macht darauf aufmerksam, dass ab Montag, dem 1.8.2011, Microsoft für zwei Monate die Möglichkeit einräumt, gegen die Veröffentlichung des eigenen Hauses im Internet vorab Widerspruch einzulegen. Microsoft will nun für Deutschland mit Bing Maps Streetside einen Internetdienst mit virtuellen Straßenansichten ähnlich Google Street View anbieten. Privatpersonen, denen ein Haus gehört oder die in einem Haus wohnen, können in der Frist vom 1.8.-30.9.2011 den Vorab-Widerspruch einlegen. Die Frist gilt für ganz Deutschland unabhängig davon, ob Microsoft bereits Aufnahmen der Region gemacht hat. Nach dieser Frist sind Widersprüche dann erst wieder möglich, wenn die Straßenansichten bereits im Netz jjxd.
