Company to Focus on Solutions for Mining Applications

Laird Technologies, Inc., a global leader in the design and supply of customized performance-critical components and systems for advanced electronics and wireless products, today announced that it will be attending the Canadian Institute of Mining, Metallurgy and Petroleum Maintenance Engineering and Mine Operators' (CIM MEMO) 2011 trade show. The event will take place at the TCU Place in Saskatoon, Canada, November 6-9, 2011. Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, can be found at booth #37.

Cattron, a unit of Laird Technologies, will display products aimed at increasing safety and productivity in underground mining located throughout the world, including its underground communication system (SIAMnet), mining remote systems, and industrial remote systems. These systems allow operators of all types of mining equipment to choose the most advantageous, most convenient, safest position with the best vantage point from which to operate. A presentation displaying the different mining systems that the company has available on the market will be shown at the booth, along with product demonstrations that encourage attendee interaction.
