EAC appelliert an EU-Parlament und Kommission - Transportkommissar Barrot für nachhaltige und sichere Mobilität

Das "Durcheinander" beim Handyverbot in Europa sei ein unhaltbarer Zustand für die Autofahrer. Darauf wiesen Vertreter des Verbundes Europäischer Automobil Clubs (EAC) bei einer ersten öffentlichen Veranstaltung in der Brüsseler EAC-Repräsentanz hin. In einigen Ländern sei Telefonieren am Steuer mit Ohrhörer erlaubt, in anderen nur mit fest eingebauter Freisprecheinrichtung. In Irland sei sogar das verboten. Ähnlich verwirrend seien die Regelungen bei Tagfahrlicht, Kindersicherung im Auto und Warnwestenpflicht. Wer vom grenzenlosen Europa profitieren will, muss sich nahezu in jedem Land auf andere Vorschriften einstellen.
