Das neue Engine Peak Meter Typ 2516A ... verfügt über eine höhere Speicherkapazität und eine bessere Rechenleistung. Dies ermöglicht eine statistische Auswertung des Spitzendruckes über 100 Verbrennungszyklen. Zusätzlich steht eine gemittelte p-t-Kurve zur genauen Verbren-nungsanalyse zur Verfügung. Die Messdaten können in zwei Speicherblöcken für jeweils 20 Datensätze (z. B. “As found“/“As left“) abgelegt werden. Dies erleichtert die Arbeit im Feld und verhindert Fehler bei einer späteren Auswertung der Messdaten mit dem PC.

Aufgrund dieser erweiterten Funktion eignet sich das neue Engine Peak Meter bestens für das Cylinder Balancing von Gasmotoren. Die im Lieferumfang enthaltene Auswertesoftware ermög-licht es, sowohl die numerischen
