Die Abwärme von Biogasanlagen verpufft oft ungenutzt. Dabei kann eine Verwertung in Nahwärmenetzen die Rentabilität für die Betreiber erhöhen. Auch für Kommunen ist die energieeffiziente Form der Wärmeversorgung in vielen Fällen wirtschaftlich attraktiv. Informationen zur aktuellen Situation in Baden-Württemberg vermittelt am 26. Mai 2014 eine Fachtagung in Stuttgart. Experten stellen erfolgreiche Projekte vor und zeigen Finanzierungsmöglichkeiten auf. Die Landesenergieagentur KEA veranstaltet die halbtägige Tagung in Kooperation mit dem Ministerium für Umwelt, Klima und Energiewirtschaft Baden-Württemberg. Die Veranstaltung wendet sich an Kommunen, Genossenschaften, Fachverbände, Planer, regionale Energieagenturen und weitere Akteure. Tagungsort ist das Landesumweltministerium.
