Die item Industrietechnik GmbH eröffnet am 21.11.2008 offiziell ihren neuen australischen Standort in Melbourne. Ausgehend von diesem strategisch wichtigen Punkt in unmittelbarer Kundennähe dient der neue Standort drei Hauptaufgaben: Vertrieb, Service und Fertigung von Kundenlösungen. In der australischen Niederlassung steht moderne Infrastruktur und ein breit aufgestelltes Lager bereit, um neben hoher Warenverfügbarkeit auch kundenspezifische Applikationen zu realisieren. Dabei bietet die item Australia (int.) Pty, Ltd von den reinen Baukastenelementen über Bausätzen bis hin zu Komplettlösungen alles an.
