At the stand of the ISD Software und Systeme GmbH visitors will gain insight into the new features and functional enhancements of HiCAD and HELiOS 2017 via numerous live demos and presentations. The new developments concern the whole product range of the ISD. This includes tailor-made solutions and carefully thought out software products which are smarter and easier to use than ever before, facilitating the daily routine tasks for engineers.
Four decades of experience, competence and know-how have been put into our new Major Release, HiCAD 2017, which comes with a multitude of new functions and functional enhancements, taking user friendliness and ease of operation to a new level. Examples of this are the new Spirals function for the generation of high-precision curves, the variable 3-D dimensioning, the new functionality for the generation of 3-D developments, the revised Steel Engineering “Base plate + Anchor plate” Design Variant, the new “Stiffener” Design Variant, the dynamic manipulation of pipelines with parts, the interface to the KISTERS 3DViewStation format with direct loading options for HiCAD data within the KISTERS viewer, direct access to BIMcatalogs.net by CADENAS, and much, much more.
On all five days at the fair, our experts will be available to you to answer your questions about our PLM solution HELiOS. The user-oriented new features and functional enhancements in HELiOS 2017 will make PLM management even easier and more efficient. Besides a further improvement of the user-friendliness, the developmental focus was on further automation helping the user save precious design time. In the field of MultiCAD the performance of the Add-ins has been increased significantly. This concerns the loading and saving of large assemblies or the transfer of numerous changes to HELiOS. The higher performance results in noticeable time savings for users. The HELiOS-EPLAN interface, too, has been further enhanced. Besides a support of the new versions, previews of EPLAN projects in HELiOS are now possible. When saving EPLAN projects via the HELiOS add-in, a PDF document will be generated and linked automatically. In this way, the contents of an EPLAN-project can also be displayed in HELiOS, without having EPLAN installed on your system.
